Providing hearing assessments and hearing aids for children and people with hearing disabilities in Gaza to improve communication, education, and social inclusion.
Hearing loss is one of the most common disabilities affecting communication, education, employment, and social participation. In Gaza, damage to healthcare facilities, limited access to audiology services, and the high cost of hearing aids have left many children and adults without the support they need.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), assistive technologies, including hearing aids, are among the most urgent rehabilitation needs for people with disabilities in Gaza. Ongoing restrictions on medical supplies continue to limit access to essential hearing care services.
To respond to this need, Jusoor Al-Amal (Bridges of Hope) Association launched the Hearing Aid Support Program. The program provides hearing assessments, individual evaluations, appropriate hearing aids, and follow-up services to help beneficiaries achieve the best possible outcomes.
The project primarily supports children, students, older adults, people with hearing disabilities, and low-income families who cannot afford hearing care services.
By improving hearing, the program enhances communication, educational achievement, employment opportunities, and social inclusion while improving overall quality of life.
You can support this project with any donation starting from just $1, helping provide hearing aids for people with disabilities in Gaza.
