Umut Köprüleri Discusses Gaza Projects for Disabled Orphans and Amputee Children with Sadaka Taşı
Umut Köprüleri Association held a meeting with Sadaka Taşı to explore cooperation on humanitarian projects supporting disabled orphans and amputee children in Gaza.
The discussion focused on remote employment initiatives aimed at empowering disabled orphans economically and enhancing their independence despite challenging conditions in Gaza.
The parties also reviewed projects related to the treatment and rehabilitation of amputee children, including technical and financial aspects of advanced prosthetic solutions, particularly German-made options.
Several initiatives presented by Umut Köprüleri—including support programs for disabled orphans, the “Tent City” project, and remote employment models—were noted for further evaluation by the board.
During the meeting, Faruk Bilal Şener indicated that the proposed projects would be reviewed in detail, with follow-up communication planned.
The need to clarify procurement processes, costs, and maintenance requirements for prosthetics was emphasized, alongside the importance of developing more detailed operational and financial plans for amputee rehabilitation projects.
The meeting concluded positively, with both sides expressing interest in developing sustainable initiatives for vulnerable groups in Gaza.
