Because They Are Palestinians First
Your child with special needs is Palestinian before anything else. They have the right to know that they have a homeland called Palestine, that Jerusalem is its capital, and that there are children like them living under bombing and siege. Their right to knowledge is no less than that of any other child.
Because They Feel, Even If They Don't Speak

How Can We Educate Our Children with Special Needs in Simple Ways?

Have your child color the Palestinian flag, or draw Al-Aqsa Mosque in their own way. Drawing is a language everyone understands.
📖 Through Illustrated Stories
Use simplified stories with large pictures and few words. For example: "This is Al-Aqsa Mosque, God's house in Jerusalem."
🎵 Through Calm Songs
Children with special needs love music and songs. Simple songs about Jerusalem and Palestine become embedded in their memory.
🤲 Through Collective Prayer
Teach them to say: "Oh God, protect the children of Palestine." When they pray for them, they feel they are supporting them in their own way.
🏡 Through Role Modeling
When they see you caring about Palestine, sad for it, happy for its victories, they will learn that this cause is important, and will imitate your feelings.
A Message to Every Mother and Father:
Don't worry if your child doesn't understand all the details. It doesn't matter if they don't know where Jerusalem is on the map. What matters is that they know that Jerusalem is in their heart, that there are children they love and pray for, and that Palestine is part of their small family.
